Schedule of Events - Rough guide

Just to keep everyone informed, Tom and I will be arriving in Bali on the 29th Feb but will be working here and there and we'll also be staying an additional week after the wedding for our honeymoon.

As we mentioned earlier, we're thrilled about the opportunity to spend as much time as possible with all of you during these two weeks. We've planned a rough schedule of events that we'd love for you to join, but please remember it's your holiday too, so feel free to explore and do your own thing. Also would love any recommendations you have! 

Here's an overview of the schedule, designed to let you experience the three main locations we'll be visiting

Uluwatu 1st - 7th March 

1st

Dinner at Ulu Garden with a Live Performance by Uluwatu's legendary reggae band, Ulu Roots.


2nd

Explore the southern beaches/lunch at Sundays Beach Club which is also on that side of Uluwatu.


3rd

Evening gathering at Single Fin's Famous for its Sundays for drinks, dinner, and even party.

4th

Morning relaxation at The Istana Spa, which offers a unique experience with hot and cold plunge pools, steam sound domes, saunas, all overlooking the sea. A must! https://theistana.com/facilities/spa-bali 

Lunch at Alchemy or Ulu Garden after - both lovely outside areas to chill and work.


5th

Padang Padang Beach and any other beachs a long that coast. 

The cave Dinner https://www.thecavebali.com/ It is by far the most expensive place to eat you will experience in bali at £83 for a 7 course meal. But a few of us want to do it so anyone is welcome to join. 

6th

Visit the Uluwatu Temple early morning or late afternoon

Ours Bali for lunch or dinner, and explore the nearby shops is a must somewhere too. 

7th

7:00 PM: Dinner and live music at Cashew Tree Collective.

8th

Drive to Canguu 

Canguu 8th - 13th March

8th

Arrive in Canguu, Im using this day for any work and pre-wedding beauty appointments as these places are the best in Bali -

9th

Could explore the town Seminyak which is 20 drive from Canguu 

10th

We will be heading to La Brisa's sunday market to get some food for the 11th day of silence, so remember to be prepared for not leaving your Villa at all that day. 

Finns Beach Club for sunset drinks if we can get in. https://finnsbeachclub.com/

11th

Day of Silence: The island comes to a standstill for 24 hours, with no lights, music, or noise. Transport is halted, and everyone must stay at home. It's the perfect day to relax by the pool, catch up on sleep, indulge in yoga and meditation, and pamper yourself at the villa or hotel.


12th 

This is considered New Years Day, so there will be celebrations going on in the streets round bali.

Could explore Tanah Lot Temple early morning if haven't already. 

Hen & Stag

3pm La Brisa for canapes and drinks https://labrisa-bali.com/ wear your swim wear as its a beach club.

13th

Travel to Ubud.


In addition to the activities listed the vibe of Canggu is - starting the day with a range of fitness options. I enjoy the cycle classes at ZIN Cafe, yoga mornings at The Practice, having a delicious breakfast, heading to the beach, maybe evening a day beach club, indulging in some shopping, pampering yourself with treatments (best place to get hair/nails/facials for the wedding like I will be doing) and having lunch. In the evenings, explore the sunsets, dining and bars. Check out our recommendations list!  

Ubud 13th - 17th March

13th

Explore the charming town of Ubud. Don't miss the opportunity to visit the famous Monkey Forest if it's on your agenda.


7:30 PM - 8:30 PM: Enjoy the captivating Kecak Fire & Trance Dance at Pura Dalem Taman Kaja. (update, won't have time for this, but if you can catch a show another day its highly reccomended)


7:30 PM: Merlin's Magic - Join us for a pre-wedding dinner at this enchanting venue with some surprises along the way https://merlins-magic.com/ 


14th

If anyone is up the picturesque Campuhan Ridge Walk in the morning. 

Enjoy lunch on your way back from the walk at Zest. https://www.zestubud.com/ 

Jade will be checking into the wedding resort that afternoon, and I'm sure Tom will be having fun at the villa and doing any prep. 

15th

Wedding Day! Join us at Maya from 3.30 PM to 10 PM for the celebration. Afterward, you're welcome to return to the villa to continue the celebrations.

16th

We will be having a chill day around the Pool at the Villa, anyone is welcome to join. 

7:30pm dinner at Akar https://www.kclubgroup.com/akar 

If you're up for more fun, we get free entry to their club near by - Kabana.


17th

We will be checking into somewhere in Ubud from the 17th till the 20th, then will be off to Nusa lembongan, the island next to bali for our Honeymoon till the 24th when we go home. 

Feel free to join us for a day of chasing waterfalls around Ubud as we enjoy the nature and capture a few more wedding photos and film.

At 6:30pm outdoor cinema at Folk Popcorn Club maybe?

Yoga Barn: https://www.theyogabarn.com/  Enjoy yoga, meditation, Thai massage, and workouts. Check out the restaurant with delicious food and cozy hangout spots. I will be making some classes when I can.


Body Works: https://ubudbodyworks.com/ Make sure to book in advance for treatments like the incredible Hot Lymphatic Therapy that me and Tom had. 


Hotel Tjampuhan Spa: https://tjampuhan-bali.com/spa/  Get a half-day spa pass to unwind in a beautiful setting (will try and make time for this)


Other Day Trip Options (30-min drive from Ubud) these 2 things are next to each other:

Tirta Empul Temple (Water Temple): A 30-minute to 1-hour experience.


Cantik Agriculture Luwak Coffee Tasting: Explore various teas and enjoy activities like swings. This is also a 30-minute to 1-hour experience.
