Whitney and Austin were born and raised in Northern Idaho, and probably crossed paths a time or two! 

Austin went to Coeur D'Alene high school and graduated then joined the Marines. 

Whitney graduated early, and went on to get her Bachelors Degree in drug and alcohol addiction counseling. 

They were both in San Diego, California for a period of time and had not known of each other yet. Also, they both lived in a small town called Athol, In Idaho and never crossed paths either! How funny is that. 

After sever failed relationships on both parts, they finally found each other and have been happily together since, and will be for the rest of time!
