Fate would have it, this dynamic duo met while playing basketball at Syracuse University. Tyler laced up his sneaks next to his buddy Joe when he noticed Michelle on the court. He struck up the courage to ask her for her number. The next day, he sent her a text message offering any drink from Starbucks (most girls dream). Michelle appeared quite surprised at the offer and pondered her options as a non-coffee drinker. Sure enough she took Ty up on his offer for a Double Chocolate Chip Frappuccino (essentially a milkshake or dessert drink). Little did she know he worked at Starbucks at the time and he has since convinced her of being an avid Starbucks customer. As the two met right before winter break, they found a way to meet up by planning a ski trip. On the return home from skiing, the two were chatting away without realizing they missed their exit to go home and almost ran out of gas. Circa August 2021 when Ty nervously popped the question and Michelle excitingly said yes. The two were initially planning a wedding for 2022 when their sweet baby boy Oliver (Ollie) decided to make his arrival that August. A small wedding ceremony took place July 8th, 2022 infront of immediate family. The two have been anxiously awaiting for 2023 to celebrate this exciting one year anniversary and marriage amongst family and friends.
